The most feared cut of the 80s is back. But the modern version has nothing to do with the one you remember.
Not your uncles mullet
The 80s mullet was extreme: very short sides, normal top, mane in the back. The modern version is subtle: faded sides, textured top, only slightly longer at the back.
Why it is working
It started gaining traction in Malasaña in 2023 with younger crowds, especially curly and wavy hair. By 2026, men in their 30s and 40s are asking for it too.
